Peregrine Gastrell was the Chancellor of the Diocese of Chester. He succeeded to the family Estate at Slapton, was appointed Chancellor of Chester in 1721, and dying intestate in 1748. A couple of small holes in the left vertical fold and the central horizontal fold.
