BACKGROUND INFORMATION: After 1787 the estate at Bewbush Park was usually known as the Holmbush estate, being described in 1818-19 as the manor of Holmbush. It was apparrently sold by Baird in 1787, when it comprised over 2,500 a., to William Manners, who was described as lord of Bewbush manor between 1788 and 1806.
