Sketches of British Insects - A Handbook for Beginners in the Study of Entomology by Rev W Houghton. Published by Groombridge & Sons in 1888.. Runs to 161 pages and is illustrated with colour plates and wood engravings. Blue decorative boards with gilt titles and black decorations. In good used condition. Boards are a little worn around the edges with marks to the back and darkening along the spine. Internally the front bracket is cracked at the title page, though the pages remain firm, with a name to the front and the odd small mark. For the most part clean and tidy.
