The light-brown leather-covered hardcover has thin firm boards with an attractive impressed Art Nouveau design and titles to both the covers and to the spine, it's rubbed and bumped at the edges with a little wear on the extremities mainly the spine-ends, has a tiny split at the head of the spine near the rear spine corner and a little partial surface-cracking to the spine-edges, else sound and mostly not split, slightly marked, otherwise mostly clean and tidy (see photo's 1 & 5).
