ALEXANDRE GITTARD. His work was very well recieved at the Paris Salons from 1863 onwards and he painted around the regions of Picardy and Touraine predominantly. His work is well regarded. Alexandre Gittard was a Salon exhibitor from 1863, chiefly with landscape paintings of French regions such as Picardy, Berry and Touraine.
