A rare copy of "A Dangerous Inheritance" or "Sidney's Fortune" by Alice Wilson Fox, published by the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge circa 1909, most likely a first edition. The novel follows the story of an American heiress, Sydney Stonyman, and her English guardian, Geoffrey Dury. This book is a great addition for collectors of historical fiction and early 20th-century literature. The front cover and spine are in good condition for its age, while the back cover shows some damage. The book measures approximately 19.5 x 13 x 4cm and has a split joint at the end. The pages show minimal yellowing and foxing. A plate inside the book indicates that it was gifted to its first owner by Vicar Walter Bidlake from the Christ Church, Crewe.
