Antique book with fine binding, by Shirley Hibberd; with “eight coloured plates and ninety wood engravings”; dated 1870. Boards appear to be covered with fine green leather, with gilt decoration to the front, rear, spine and edges, a crimson-coloured background to the section of the spine showing the title, and tooled wraparounds to the edges of the inside covers.
