This binding was once in the posession of the Metchim family. William Paul Metchim, the son of the famous london engraver of the same name and D. Bridgman Metchim the author. Their book plates appear on the front pastedown and endpaper. The text block is complete with no damage or loss. Some age toning and an occasional spot of foxing.
