A journey from the Clyde Coast at Largs through Girvan and on to Stranraer, taking in the sights of the ancient castles and the rolling hills that are Southern Scotland. Our excursion begins at Largs, a popular seaside resort, on a Class 318EMU operated by Strathclyde Transport and then heads south passing the Hunterson Ore Terminal and nuclear power station. Watch in awe as a train tests the strength of a nuclear flask in a staged crash before travelling on to West Killbride. Here there are spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde to the beautiful island of Arran.
