Lung ultrasonography (LUS) has shown its usefulness at identifying DA of cardiogenic origin. Out of 109 cases, 55% had CI. They presented more pulmonary interstitial edema on LUS. Independent predictors on interstitial pulmonary edema detection by LUS in these patients were male gender, diabetics and with reduced ejection fraction.
