CHATS ON ENGLISH CHINA by Arthur Hayden hardback published by Fisher Allen 1904 first edition, 287 rough edged pages which have hints of dust toning to extremities, block tanning to endpapers, small inscription pre-title page as photo, tissue protected frontispiece (slight foxing on the tissue) plus over 100 photos or diagrams throughout book, pictorial cover has only light wear and rubbing to extremities and lettering and imagery still bright for age, spine also good with light wear to ends and slight fade on lettering, slight slackness to binding, interesting little cutting from a periodical is attached to pre-Preface page showing a poem called “Old China” although it has block tanned the adjacent page
