BOHUMIL PTÁK (PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, 14 JUNE, 1869 – PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, 4 FEBRUARY, 1933). At the National Opera in Prague, he was involved in important premieres of Czech operas of his era: on November 23, 1899, he took part in the premiere of Čert a Káča by A. Dvořák; on March 31, 1901, he sang the role of the Prince in the premiere of A. Dvořák’s Rusalka; and on March 25, 1904, he appeared in the premiere of A. Dvořák’s Armida.
