Extremely rare signed First Edition of David Lodge’s third novel from 1965, The British Museum of Falling Down. As can be seen from the pictures, the dustjacket, with unclipped price of 21s net, is intact. There is paper loss and small tears at the spine and folds. Most of the cover illustration retains the bright red colour, but the spine and portions of the cover are faded. The book is solid and sturdy, with browning to the ends but no sign of spotting. A previous owner’s name and date is on the inside page. Selling my collection of signed David Lodge First editions in light of his passing this week to give somebody else a chance to own them. Also selling Orhan Pamuk and Kazuo Ishiguro signed firsts.
