A miniature (11cm x 7cm) bound in leather with gilt edged pages of Thomas of Kempis' book "The Imitation of Christ". A Christian devotional book originally written in Latin in the early 15th century and consisted of four "books" which are all included in this volume. All text is in English. Contains a short biographical sketch of Thomas of Kempis. Green leather boards with gilt decoration to front and titles to spine are in good condition with some light rubbing and minor nicks to top and bottom edges. Title page is missing. Occasional corners have been bent but pages are generally clean and unmarked.
