Bound in brown cloth with blind stamped ankh symbol on the top board, in original dust jacket with original corrugated cardboard slipcase. Near fine, clean bright and tight in its binding. The dust jacket has two very short repaired closed tears and a mark to the spine. This book is filled with high quality photographs in full colour of the coffin of Djehuty-nekht, splendid works of Ancient Egyptian art. The text described the 1920s excavation where the arefacts were discovered, with plans and monochrome photographs, and the individual elements of the coffin and some associated artefacts are examined in great detail. 32cm, 12.5 inches, tall, by 30cm, 12 inches wide, 172 pages.
