A tall and imposing column duplex oil lamp consisting of a faceted and cross cut hatched moulded glass font fitted with a bayonet fitting Sherwood’s duplex burner all mounted on a brass Corinthian reeded brass column sitting on a cast brass square stepped base. There burner works well and has been overhauled and rewicked. All of the brassware has been cleaned and highly polished. The blue top edge and acid etched globe shade is a modern quality reproduction. There is a tiny chip to the corner of one of the fonts facets. This very attractive lamp stands at 28” overall.
