An Indian Journey, Waldemar Bonsels, 1929, Illustrated, first GB edition. Ex-Library book, which has a stamp on the outer edges of the pages at the bottom, and the residue of a sticker and stamp on the back endpapers (see photo). The book describes the author's travels in India and the surrounding area - a quirky, personal description of his experiences. Chapter openings have attractive illustrations and drop caps; some chapters have small illustrations at the end. Endpapers have a map of India: 'done by Harry Brown who has read all about it'. The red cloth boards have gilt lettering to the spine. Boards are a little grubby here and there and the spine is darkened.
