Contents clean and fresh with a very neat 1943 gift inscription to the front free endpaper. Top edge red, in the original binding of red cloth over thin boards, bright and clean, titled in gilt to front and spine. Tiny pale specks to lower part of upper board. There is a little foxing around the spine and to the top edge of the lower panel.
