Up for sale are The "Essays of Elia" by Charles Lamb in 2 volumes Edward Moxon, London, 1836 & 1837. Condition is VG. Finely bound by Luriat in calf; ornate gilt-decorated spines with raised bands, and gilt borders, marbled endpapers. Boards show some staining to the leather but over all they are in excellent shape with sharp corners and a firm, square binding.
