JOSÉ LUCCIONI (BASTIA, CORSICA. OCTOBER 14, 1903 – MARSEILLE, FRANCE. OCTOBER 5, 1978). His voice was discovered while he was serving in the military. He studied singing under Léon David and Léon Escalaïs in Paris and made his debut in 1931 at the Opera of Rouen as Cavaradossi in Tosca.
