The Hawker Fury was a British bi-plane fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force in the 1930s. The first RAF fighter able to fly at a speed exceeding 200 mph in lever flight. It was designed partly for the fast interception of bombers and to that end it had a climb rate of almost 2,400 ft/min.
