Helen’s Babies and Other Peoples Children - John Habberton. This work is recognised by scholars as culturally important. Originally published in 1877, and with no date in this copy and with this cover art, it maybe possible that this dates back to then? Anyway the book is old. It has a sticker showing it was bound by Smith Ipswich bookbinders, the publisher is written as Ward Lock and Co and printers were as stated at the time, which all could well place it around the tIme of the first edition. There is happily a lack of foxing but some bad staining to rear cover inside and out. The binding of the cloth cover is split but is holding the pages OK. The text blocks are dusty and dirty.
