This is an early version of the Helios-44 lens with M39 mount, serial number 0008849, 1:2 F=5.8cm, produced by KMZ. It has several differences from later versions, including a minimum aperture value of 22 and an extended front part of the barrel. This is a fairly rare specimen. The lens body shows signs of wear and patina. The mechanics are in good condition, though the lubrication may need replacement for smoother focusing. There is some dust and air bubbles inside, and cleaning marks on the lenses.
