A 1911 collection of short stories by the writer Katherine Mansfield; her first published collection. All but three of the stories were originally published in The New Age edited by A. R. Orage; the first to appear was "The Child-Who-Was-Tired". Thirteen short stories in all, influenced by her experiences during a short time in Germany prior to 1906. No dust jacket. Blue boards with gilt titles to spine are in overall good condition with some spotting/soiling, bumps to corners and light rubbing to edges. Evidence of repair to binding at some point as per photos. Name and date of previous owner in white on first cover page. Internal pages are clean and unmarked.
