Rare Dover Books 1967 hardback reissue of John James Audubon's Birds of America, two volumes only (Vol 1 and vol 5), black and white illustrations and text, unabridged. These are ex Liverpool Central library, sold off in a big book sale in the 1990s, with library bookplate in one, stickers on spine, typical library signs of use, covers seem to have a protective clear plastic coating (not removable) though they may have been issued with this, light staining to part of edges (see photos), light fox spotting inside hard covers on vol 1, but interiors of both books are bright. Good reading / reference copies. 13cm by 22cm size.
