Albert Edmund Cockram King of the Racecourse 1870-1943. 'The Cockram and Stuart Expedition' took a cinematographer with them to record the first pictures taken of that region. Educated at Hale School, the "King of the Racecourse" owned Belmont and Goodwood reacecourses until his death in 1943.
