Up for bid is a wonderful vintage Dwig (Dwiggins) signed postcard. This cute card has a great lithographic illustration of a maple leaf. Dwig's "Don't" advice is printed above and below. When you supersize image 1 you can better see the fine detail that Dwig has included. His signature appears at the middle-right portion. The artistry is really great and the colors are still vivid. Printed in pre-WWI Germany, and published by Raphael Tuck & Sons, this antique postcard was part of a set of "Don't" postcards published by Dwig at the beginning of the last century. It has been posted, and has a 1909 cancellation across the one-cent stamp on the divided back. This card will make a great addition to your Dwig or comic postcard collection. Better hurry, before another collector takes it away for good!.
