Martin Chuzzlewit von Dickens veröffentlicht Chapman und Hall um 1890
This old red hardback book is in fair to acceptable condition..The red boards are quite marked and knocked, very worn and scuffed ,bowed at the edges and faded particularly the ext spine..The internal Roughcut pages are moderately tanned and foxed in places..the book has been well read consequently there are finger marks on the boards and on the internal pages too..There are 40 black and white illustrations plus a frontispiece protected by tissue paper..There is no date in the book but I have a similar Oliver Twist version dated 1892 ..there is a booksellers sticker on the front endpaper. There is also a pen inscription dated 1944 on an inside cover page..
