Miss Bobbie, Ethel S. Turner. 1897. Ward, Lock &co. 8vo. First edition, first printing. Green cloth with gilt decoration to front board and spine, with all edges gilt, with plates and illustrations by Harold Copping. A good copy, some light shelfwear to board edges and corners, spine tips, but the gilt usually bright. Binding fairly tight, a little loosened over time but holding, with a slight cock. The line drawings have been hand-coloured by a former owner, usually quite sparingly. Tissue guard to frontis remains, with other plates usually clean. Some light spotting and toning in places but minor. A nice example.
