As a child my appreciation for reading was greatly influenced by those books that allowed me to choose what happened to me. If I jumped and swung from the vine turn to page 13, but if I chose to fight the dragon turn to page 26. More often than not my decisions resulted in a messy end, but occasionally I would win through and find the treasure/rescue the princess/save the world from evil. As I have grown older (much older) I have kept my appreciation for those wonderfully innovative books. I present to you an adventure with alternate endings that may resonate with you. These are the kind of happy (or tragic) endings us grown ups can relate to.
