The author’s major work about a boy from a fishing village in Caithness. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spine, in the dust jacket which follows the design of the first edition. A near fine book, the cloth clean with a faint mark to rear board seeping in from the jacket, but the binding tight and square, the contents fine but for a little offsetting to the endpapers. The dust jacket bright and sharp, unclipped, the spine panel a trifle faded, stain to rear panel, some tiny nicks to corners, but very presentable overall.
