An outstanding and near fine full leather-bound copy of Mother Goose and the Old Nursery Rhymes. A signed limited edition, Number 644 of 1130 copies published by William Heinmann, London in 1913. Illustrated and signed by Arthur Rackham, including thirteen mounted color plates, each with titled tissue guard and 85 black and white Rackham illustrations throughout featuring some of our all-time favorite nursery rhymes. 4to, 160 pages - gilt-ruled full crushed red Morocco, spine gilt in 6 compartments, all edges gilt, decorated endpapers, just a bit of toning and foxing to a few interior pages. Red cloth slipcase provided; rubbed. For the discriminating collector, an unusually nice copy, signed by Rackham and beautifully bound.
