After four years' service, Elder Berry began to preach to the Welsh Hills Baptist Church and was succeeded in the pastorate of the Granville church by Elder Henry Carr, July 27th, 1833. During a brief interim the church was served for longer or shorter periods by Elders Nathan Wildman, Allen Darrow and Hiram Gear.
