*RARE* AD&D Pools of Darkness 5.25” Big Box PC Game (SSI, 1991)

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that SSI’s Gold Box series (including Hillsfar!) was the most consistently entertaining and quality series in the history of gaming. There hasn’t been a series that managed to maintain the vibe of the original entry quite like it, with full transfer of characters from one game to the next. Furthermore, Pools of Darkness is possibly the most satisfying conclusions to any series ever made. It’s bigger, bolder and better than the previous entries, and has an awesome epilogue that will please even the most hardcore fans. I love this game and this is a particularly well cared-for box.
