Rare book - Montague Summers - A Memoir by Joseph Jerome, limited edition - this is edition 417 or 750. This was bought by my mother from Liverpool Central Library when they sold off a large number of books including from their reference / reserve shelves prior to the extensive remodelling of the building. as a reference book, it has not been 'lent out' and the interior pages are very clean. The front inside cover and opposite first page have the usual library stamps and stickers. The book has a plastic sleeve which is easily removed. There is one small sticker on the hardback cover itself and a bit of very light soiling, which may wipe off. There's a caricature of Summers drinking tea embossed in metallic on the red cover.
