The covers in good condition but has wear around them which includes scratches, wear around the edges and to the corners. The spine has damage at the top and bottom. The interior is in good condition for its age with no scribbles but has small tears, gaps in the guttering and heavy browning throughout. Both annuals are fragile due to the damage to the spine and guttering coming away from the start of the 1939 annual so be careful when reading. The puzzles and drawings have been drawn in and there is also a greetings message and small pencil writing inside the first couple of pages.
