REJECTED UNKNOWN was originally released in 2001, its title a wry response to the Austin-based singer-songwriter being unceremoniously dropped by Atlantic Records after his sole major-label album, 1994's FUN, failed to expand his loyal cult following and an even shorter connection with Elektra ended with no releases at all.
