Samuel Pepys Diary, Cassell's National Library, Henry Morley, 1886-88. 8 Vols, which I think is the complete set. These look to me like they were published with soft covers but have been bound as hardbacks at a later date. The new boards are not that nice, but have at least protected the books. Once inside, you'll find some loose/deatched pages and covers but for the most part the books are in reasonable condition. It might be possible to remove the new boards with a sharp scalpel, but not sure. Interested period ads in each volume.
