Half Past Autumn: A Retrospective, written and with photos by Gordon Parks, and with an essay by Philip Brookman, is a 360 page, 10 X 12 inch softcover book published by Little, Brown and Company, Boston. The book was first published in 1997 in conjunction with the exhibit mounted by the Corcoran Gallery of Art. This is a second printing of the 1998 softcover edition, as stated. The author has written "For Kit and Brenda--" and signed the half-title page. Two newspaper clippings about Parks are laid in, and please note: a third article is lightly glued to the left hand side of the half-title page. Synopsis - This retrospective of Parks' work combines fifty years of photographs with his own account of his memorable life.
