A nice example of one of the Queens of Detective Fiction’s Roderick Alleyn murder mystery novels. Without the dust jacket. A very good copy, the cloth clean and fairly bright, the spine a trifle faded, the corners and tips gently bumped, the binding tight and square. Some spots to the textblock edges but seldom seeping, and the text largely fine. With a curious ink inscription to the front endpaper regarding Paul Felix Armand-Delille, the French physician who caused the plague of myxomatosis among rabbits across Europe.
