First American appearance of Eliot's influential, The Waste Land. Touch of pencil to front cover, small loss of paper top of spine, very minor wear to paper bottom of spine; back cover detached but wholly present. It's standard to find some offsetting from the Delaunay plate to the first page of Eliot's poem, but rather unusually in this copy Eliot's poem has created some negative offsetting of the text onto Delaunay's plate.
