Hardback book in dustwrapper "Tales of Old-Time Texas" by J Frank Dobie, published by Hammond, Hammond & Co in 1959. Unclipped dustwrapper has quite a lot of creasing, mainly to top edge, also some tears, and the top inch or so missing at the spine. Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of grey boards, a previous owner's name and date (December 1961) on f/ep, some yellowing to the pages, but otherwise a not too bad, tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in the US in 1955, this is a slightly later British edition from 1959. Stories from Texan history and folklore. 336pp, some b&w drawings.
