The BFG by Roald Dahl illustrated by Quentin Blake and published in the UK by Jonathan Cape in 1982. First edition first print. The book is bound tightly and has no scribbles tears or folds, the paper has toning due to age, the front and back paste-downs have a couple of scuffs to each where the plastic covering of the dust jacket had been taped to them, the un price clipped dust jacket is unaffected by this and is very nice with just a bit of edge wear.
