Really lovely Women's Institute book "dedicated to country women throughout the world*. Full of tips and info on, well, everything, including bird rearing, wine-making, jams and jellies, recipes, gardening, flowers, fruit, veg, herbs, beekeeping... Basically these women did a lot more than I have or will ever do. Compiled and published by the West Kent Federation of Women's Institutes - first printed 1939, this second edition was 1943. Perfect present!! For condition see pics, in good condition for a book of this age I think.
