The famous and Memorable workes of Iosephus, a man of much honour and learning among the jews. Faithfully translated of the Latine and French by Tho. Lodge, Doctor of Physickie. printed in London for Thomas Adams, 1620. This is by far the best translation and easiest to read of the works of Josephus. The book has been professionally rebound. The pages are nice with some water damage (as shown in Photos) and some damage to the edges of the pages (also seen in photos). There has been some professional repair to some pages and some pages have been cropped close to margin. The pages are clearly readable and strong. The book is 8 3/4 x 12 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches. very large book and overall a very nice copy of a book from 1600's.
