Fantastic handbook children’s book by John Mackie. The book was presented for ‘good attendance’ in 1905 and was published in 1901. There are no other publication dates listed so I am assuming it’s a first edition but I am far from an expert with books! The pages all seem secure but I have photographed when there is a gap between pages - but I think this is the gap between bound pages, not a rip or tear. Please see photos for description - there is some yellowing as expected for a book over 120 years old. The book has 12 illustrations (some shown in the photos) and golden page ends. There is no dust cover.
