This is a first edition copy of ‘The Lifeline’ by Phyllis Bottome. Published by Faber & Faber 1946. This book is in good condition. There is no dustjacket. There is some general shelf/reading wear with some rubbing to the boards, and a little bumping and sunning to the spine. There is a fine bookplate, and a neat name/date inscription. There is some page tanning, and a little mustiness from storage, but pages are clean and intact. A chance to acquire a desirable first edition of this sought after book, of considerable interest to Bond fans.
