This old blue cloth hardback illustrated book is in acceptable condition..the boards are very well rubbed and worn..The edges and gutter are scuffed and the book ends are bowed too..The ext edges of the pages are gilt..There are several signatures/inscriptions plus a booksellers sticker on the front endpapers..and also another dated signature on the following page ..There is a frontispiece protected by tissue paper.There is some "Pencil" underlining within the contents page which can easily be erased. Overall the book has been well read over the years and some if the tanned internal pages are turned over or dogeared.
