The poems are translated in order to maintain their 'original quality' and any attempt to adhere to the Chinese Classical Form are abandoned. Translated with an introductory biography and literary review. Dust jacket is in poor condition having split along spine as per photo. Orange boards with yellow titles are bumped and rubbed at edges with some fading and light soiling. Smudge to bottom corner of preliminary title and title pages. Light foxing to margins, a small ink mark to page 16 and small tear to page edge of 57/58 but otherwise internal pages are clean and unmarked.
