THE TALE OF BENJAMIN BUNNY 1904 FINE CONDITION BEATRIX POTTER VERY RARE
The Tale of Benjamin Bunny, Warne & Co., London & New York, 1904 1st edition in fine condition. Very bright boards with minimal wear to the original spine. Slight marking to the front board. Internally there is a neat inscription 1904 on the front endpapers. 1904 is also dated to the front of the title page and Muffatees is misspelt on page 15. All 85 pages are tight in the binding. There is a tiny hairline fold to page 14, pages 20/21 have a dot of surface loss, page 80 has two small closed tears and fraying to the page end, page 85 has a closed fold near the gutter (see photo) and the rear endpaper has a small closed fold to the top. There are a couple of other small markings but overall a very good copy of this rare delicate book.
